New Hampshire Housing does offer refinancing options! Our refinance programs are good for people who have limited equity in their property or want a low- or no-mortgage insurance option.
New Hampshire Housing offers two refinancing programs:
Home Flex refinancing: If you currently have a loan that is government-insured through Rural Development (USDA/RD), the Veterans Administration (VA), or the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) then you may qualify for Home Flex refinancing. Home Flex refinancing features low interest rates and, in some cases, no appraisal requirements. This product is only available for owner-occupied, principal residence properties.
Home Preferred refinancing: New Hampshire Housing also offers a conventional refinancing option that offers up to 97% loan-to-value (LTV) with a “preferred” low-mortgage insurance coverage requirement. With the Home Preferred product borrowers are allowed limited cash out. This product is only allowed on owner-occupied, principal residences.
